Hearts & Hooves Therapeutic Riding Program

Riders aged 6 and up with physical, mental, and social disabilities participate in a six-week session of riding lessons tailored to their needs. Riders enjoy a one hour class on horseback learning stretching exercises, basic equitation and games. Horseback riding is known to improve core strength and coordination and provide a unique social opportunity with peers. Maximum class sizes of 10 riders, with two instructors and up to three volunteer assistants per rider.

Session 1: Jan. 27-March 2 

Session 2: March 16-April 20 

Six-week sessions / Mondays 

Available class times: 4:30 + 6 p.m. 

 

Pre-Registration Required.

Ages: 6+

Cost

$120 EBR Residents;$144 Out-of-Parish Residents
