Positive Teens: Mills Ave

BREC designed this program to cultivate and empower teens to become community leaders. Participants will learn job development skills, such as how to apply for a job, interview skills and other skills that can assist them in becoming productive citizens when they graduate from high school. Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join BREC for a family movie (Rated PG and below) under the stars. Enjoy free popcorn and punch. The movie will be moved inside the gym in the event of inclement weather. All movies begin at dusk Movie titles subject to change.

Watch students compete in Western and English riding events. Classes include: equitation over fences and on the flat, barrel racing, pole bending, trail, Western horsemanship and showmanship. Open to the public.

Stick Horse Rodeo

Participants will compete in rodeo events in a miniature rodeo arena on stick horses. The events are: Bronco Riding, Bull Riding, Pole Bending, Barrel Racing and a Flag Race. Bring your own stick horse or borrow one of ours!
