Trot and Brew Adult Horsemanship

Led by a member of the Baton Rouge Audubon Society (BRAS), visitors enjoy a morning hike through the forest and swamp while identifying various bird species. Bird-watching techniques and identification tips are also discussed. Beginners are welcome.

“Cadets” are brought into the wonderful world of astronomy. They explore gravity, simple machines, stars, planets, meteors, the Earth and the Moon, asteroids and comets, the electromagnetic spectrum and the American space program! Each session is stand-alone, but your child will want to attend again and again.

Guided Trail Rides

BREC's Farr Park Equestrian center is proud to offer guided trail rides on select Saturdays and Sundays. Enjoy a one-hour gentle ride through the park or in the indoor arena on one of the BREC horses.
