BREC's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center Hosts Spooktacular Hikes

Trade scares and screams for laughter and learning this Halloween at Swamp Haunted Hikes at BREC's Bluebonnet Swamp Nature Center, 10503 N. Oak Hills Pkwy. Families are invited to these spooktacular events Oct. 15, 22, and 29 from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.

This program is an alternative to commercial haunted houses and designed especially for young children. Participants learn about snakes, insects, rats and other creepy critters as they visit educational stations along the trail.

Participants may wear a costume and should bring a flashlight. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is not required, and the fee is $6 per person.
