Liberty Lagoon Swimming Lessons

Liberty Lagoon opens Memorial Day Weekend

Parent/Tot Swim Class (6 months-2 years)
Paren/tot swim class is a great way for parents to get their children oriented to water and the initial skills of water exploration. During this class, both parent and child get into the water to exercise. Class is taught in zero depth water to 3 feet 6 inches deep.
8:10-8:50 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays
$35 per session
Session 1: June 6-9
Session 2: June 13-16
Session 3: June 20-23
Session 4: July 11-14
Session 5: July 18-21
Session 6: July 25-28

Water Exploration (Ages 2-4)

This course teaches the beginning stages of swimming such as blowing bubbles, leg kicks, submerged face. arm actions and water safety. Class is taught in water depth of 3 feet 6 inches.
8:10-8:50 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays (eight classes)
$45 per session
Session 1: June 6-16
Session 2: June 20-30
Session 3: July 11-21

Intro to Water (Ages 5-10)
This course is for children ages 5-10 that have no swimming experience and are not comfortable being in or around water. Class is for water exploration only, with minimal swimming stroke instruction. Water safety and personal safety are covered.
8:10-8:50 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays (eight classes)
$6.50 per session
Session 1: June 6-16
Session 2: June 20-30
Session 3: July 11-21

Swim Lessons (all ages)
This course teaches the more advanced stages of swimming including leg kicks, arm strokes, swimming under water, front crawl, back crawl, diving, streamline swimming techniques and water safety. Class is taught in 3 feet 6 inches of water.
8:10-8:50 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays (eight classes)
$45 per session
Session 1: June 6-16
Session 2: June 20-30
Session 3: July 11-21

Adaptive Adult Swim Class (ages 17 and older)
Students participate in water exercise activities while increasing their muscle strength, movement and coordination, without gravity. Participants enjoy a renewed interest in recreation swimming, increased balance and strength and improved agility. A water wheelchair, chair life, life jackets and tubes are all available if needed. Class is taught in 3 feet 6 inches of water.
June-Aug.: Mondays - Wednesdays, 8-9 a.m.
$36 per session

Boot Camp- River Running
Class involves a variety of cardiovascular activity to get your body moving. Exercises include jogging, push ups, sand running, jumping jacks and tuck jumps.
8:10-9 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays
$45 a session; $5 per class
Session 1: June 13-30
Session 2: July 11-28

Aqua Zumba
Splashing, stretching, twisting and shouting are often heard during an aqua zumba class. Intergrating the Zumba formula and philosophy with traditional aqua fitness disciplines, Aqua Zumba blends it all together into a safe, challenging, water-based workout that's cardio-conditioning, body toning and exhilerating. Class is taught in water depth of 3 feet 6 inches.
8:10-9 a.m., Mondays-Thursdays
$45 per session; $5 per class
Session 1: June 6-30
Session 2: July 5-28
Session 3: Aug.

Aqua Cardio
This aquatics class intergrates aerobics conditioning exercises with Pilates movements to challenge your heart and body core. Exercises include frog jumps, jogging through the lazy river, jumping jacks, wll push-ups, high knee tuck jumps and cross country skiing. Class is taught in water depth of 3 feet 6 inches.

$45 per session;$5 per class
