It's our weekly workout challenge! Each week, we'll issue a challenge with a specific workout requirement and share the top 3 BRECords. This challenge isn't just for the public but for the BREC staff too!

When are the challenges and winners announced?

Each Friday, we'll share the winner on social media. The new challenges will be announced on Mondays.

How can I submit my number?

You can send it to us in a comment, message, or post via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. You can also email it to us at info@brec.org. The deadline to submit is 9 a.m. each Friday.

Current Challenge: Yoga Squat

This week’s BRECord is an endurance challenge to see how long you can hold your Yoga Squat

Tips:
  • Start with your feet slightly wider than hip distance apart.
  • Pivot your feet so your toes are wider than your heels.
  • Bend your knees deeply, sinking down until your hips are lower than your knees, a few inches off the floor.
  • Bring your palms together t your center, and wedge your elbows one at a time, to the inside of your knees. Push your elbows into your knees to open your hips, and gently press the inside of your knees into your elbows.
