Volunteer BREC November
A Word of Thanks
November is traditionally when people take a moment and reflect on the year and identify things they are grateful for. As I am approaching my 6th month with BREC, I can truly say that I am grateful for everyone who have dedicated their time, talent, and ideas to our programs, activities, and events. We have so much going on week after week, sometimes several events on the same day, and volunteers play a HUGE part in the success of all those things. On behalf of our Superintendent, and all of BREC's staff, I want to thank everyone who has lent a helping hand. I look forward to your continuous efforts in the future.

Grab your boots and your loppers and join us at Manchac Park to help us blaze a new hiking trail! The park is getting an update and we are taking it to the woods. We want to make this conservation area accessible to the public and we need your help to get it done. Tools will be provided. Groups and individuals are encouraged to participate. For more information contact volunteer@brec.org.
