The Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge, BREC, requests photographs of patron's experience at any of BREC's parks, events or programs for its new magazine, Green Scapes.

08.12.10 - Make Fitness Fun for your Family
Enjoy health and wellness with your entire family at BREC's Family Fun and Fitness on Aug. 28 from 9-11 a.m. at Antioch Park, 6229 Antioch Blvd. The purpose of this program is to introduce families to an innovative way that gets them involved in fitness activities together.

08.11.10 - Join a BREC Fall Softball League
BREC's Athletics Department hosts organizational meetings for its men's, women's and co-ed fall softball leagues on Tuesday, Aug. 24 at Independence Park Recreation Center, 7505 Independence Blvd. The men's and women's league meeting takes place at 6:30 p.m., followed by the co-ed league meeting at 7:15 p.m. The mens 50 + league meeting takes place on Aug. 25 at 6:30 at Independence Park.
