BREC's Magnolia Mound Plantation Offers Historic Fall Holiday Camp
BREC's Magnolia Mound Plantation (MMP), 2161 Nicholson Drive, offers a two-day Historic Fall Holiday Camp on Nov. 23 and 24 from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
Campers (ages 7-12) will enjoy traditional seasonal arts and crafts as well as a little cooking. Activities include, making pomanders, crafting felt acorns, constructing old fashioned puzzles and creating a candy corn frame. The smells of the holidays will fill the air when campers cook a sweet treat in the open-hearth kitchen. Campers will enjoy a tranquil return to historic holidays with this two-day camp.
The deadline for registration is Monday, Nov. 16. The fee is $30 for in-parish residents and $36 for out-of-parish residents. Space is limited. Registration is required. To register, please visit BREC's Magnolia Mound Plantation or call 225-343-4955.
