The building and land were donated to BREC for administrative offices and park land. This was the largest donation ever made to BREC, and the value of the building and site was placed $5.12 million.  The site composes 20.5 acres including a two story building, totaling 145,610 sq.ft.

The architecture firm of Robert M. Coleman and Partners, Architects AIA designed the renovation for BREC's.

The remodeled building houses all of BREC's administration offices, commission meeting rooms, warehouse space, as well as a public fitness center and rentable ballroom. In addition, there are spaces designated for possible future office tenants and small retail shops surrounded by a lush green park.
