BREC's BMX Raceway

Located at BREC's Perkins Road Park, this dirt track with its sharp turns and rolling jumps, is designed for 20" bikes, mountain bikes and cyclocross bikes. Ages four and older can enjoy this facility.

BREC Raceway Races

BREC's BMX Raceway offers American Bicycle Association (ABA) sanctioned races every Sunday afternoon. Registration is from noon-2 p.m. and races begin at 2 p.m. There is a $10 Race Fee and an ABA Membership is required. Memberships are available at the track.
 
Requirements:

BMX HELMETS REQUIRED! Riders must wear long pants. No reflectors, chain guards or pegs.

Rentals:

A limited number of BMX bikes and helmets are available at the track. Minor parts on-hand for emergencies.

Cost: $4 rental fee for the bike/ $2 rental fee for the helmet 

BMX Birthday Parties

The BREC BMX Raceway hosts many birthday parties and other family events throughout the year. The rental cost for this facility is $60. There are four different time slots available for rental (see schedule above).

BMX 101 (will resume in 2010)

BMX 101 is a beginners' riding class. The course is designed to teach basic bike handling, bike positioning, approaching jumps, passing in a race, gate starts and much more.

Cost: $25 per six-week course
