The Perkins Road Skate Park is currently closed for construction.  Please visit our alternate skate parks at Old Hammond Highway Park (8900 Old Hammond Hwy) in Baton Rouge and Church Street Park (3210 Church St.) in Zachary.  These parks are open FREE to the public during daylight hours. A temporary skate park facility is open for the skateboarding public. The center ground of the Baton Rouge Velodrome is home to several ramps, rails and fun boxes.

Skatepark Rental

The skate park is available for birthday rentals for $40.00 per 2 hours on Saturdays from 12:30pm-2:30pm. Call for availability.

Helmets are available for rent for $2.00. Skate pads are available for rent for $1.00.

Waiver cards are available free of charge for the first card. Replacement waiver cards are $3.00.

Skating at the Velodrome!

In-line skaters are invited to come to BREC's Velodrome to enjoy the fun of recreational, fitness and advanced skating. The Velodrome is open to skaters ages 4 and up.

HELMETS AND SAFETY EQUIPMENT ARE REQUIRED!  Elbow and Knee pads along with helmets can be rented at the park for $2.00/each.
