History Imagine Your Parks planning began in November of 2003. A large kickoff was held at BREC's Independence Park Theatre to introduce the community planning process. From there, 147 public meetings were held with user groups, individuals, service provider agencies and citizens-at-large. Communication Methods The Imagine Your Parks web site was created to distribute more information about the plan. Updates to the plan are regularly posted on the site.
