Event Friday Night Lecture Series

For twenty-five years this program has given patrons histories and possible futures. Skygazing tips, physics phenomena, space programs and famous events are covered.

4 October = “The Spooky Sampler”   We’re getting close to Halloween…this lecture slot will be used to highlight a smorgasbord of unsettling stories, images and theories—for our adult audience.

25 October = “Buying Skygazing Equipment”   BRAS member (and asteroid discoverer) Merrill Hess heads this personnel-driven overview of this year’s economic landscape for binoculars, telescopes, flashlights, eyepieces and filters.
