Free Dual Use Sport Helmets – Distribution Set for Jan. 7th
Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital and Kohl’s Department Store Partner to Raise Awareness for Bicycle and Skate Safety
WHAT: Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital and Kohl's Cares ® will give away 100 free helmets to raise awareness of Bicycle and Skate Safety. The helmets to be distributed are "Dual Use" helmets approved for bicycle and skate safety. Helmet sizes range from youth sizes to age 18. To receive a free helmet, children must be present for proper fitting and they will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.
Bicycle and Skate safety information will also be available.
Free helmets are made possible by the Kohl's Cares ® program. Since 2007, Kohl's Cares ® has donated $177,803 to Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital for safety education.
