SPORTS ACADEMY HOLIDAY BASKETBALL CAMP

Sports Academy Holiday Camps will teach new drills and techniques that will help you dominate on the court during this holiday season! Campers will go through various stations, competitions and five vs. five games that will help improve their overall game as well as individual abilities and basketball IQ.

KATHY DRIVE – HOLIDAY SPORTS CAMP

BREC Kathy Drive Sport Camps will teach new drills and techniques that will help you dominate on the court and field during this holiday season! SPRING ZOO CAMP

What could be more fun during spring break than hanging out with the animals? Zoo Camp includes guided walks through the Zoo and seasonally-themed games and crafts. Children will also have the opportunity to get up-close-and-personal with Zoo animals.

April 1-5 / 9 a.m.-4 p.m. / Ages: 6-12

Early drop-off 7:30 a.m. / Late pick-up until 5:30 p.m.(available at no additional fee)

$130 per child for East Baton Rouge Parish residents

BLUEBONNET SWAMP BUSY BEE SPRING CAMP

Bring your child to Bluebonnet Swamp for three days of fun during the holiday break. They’ll be treated to nature-based activities such as arts and crafts, live animal encounters, hikes, games, and a themed afternoon snack. Each day will be comprised of different activities, and campers will need to bring a bag lunch and drink each day. Activities in spring camp will focus on springtime topics such as baby animals, blooming plants, and bees. Registration opens March 1.

SPRING BREAK CAMP SUNSHINE

BREC offers holiday camps, which are perfect for school vacations, filled with friends and fun activities. This holiday camp follows the local school schedules for City of Baker, City of Central, East Baton Rouge Parish Schools and City of Zachary. Our Camp Sunshine program offers a fun-filled, holiday themed recreational curriculum for children with cognitive and developmental disabilities to include arts and crafts, passive and active games, socialization with peers and a field trip. Must have 5 campers registered for the camp to take place.

NATURE EXPLORERS SPRING CAMP

Nature Explorers Camp is all about getting your child outside for a hands-on exploration of nature. Bring your camper to Palomino Drive Park for two days of fun during the Spring Break. Campers will explore the park and enjoy the great outdoors while learning exciting facts about the nature around them. Our activities are designed to keep your camper engaged, learning, and having a blast throughout the entire camp. Each day will be comprised of different activities, outdoor games, crafts, and experiments. Campers will need to bring a bag lunch, drink, and snacks each day.

“April showers… bring may flowers,” but does it hold true for Louisiana? This spring we will explore everything water and how it affects our ecosystems. How are rivers formed? Why do amphibians love this time of spring? Why do plants crave water so much? Come join us as we explore water, weather, flowers, and so much more!

SPRING HOLIDAY RIDING CAMP

Holiday Riding Camp will teach your child basic riding skills, horsemanship, horse care, and stable management, in addition to fun crafts and friendship, while enjoying the beautiful spring weather outdoors. This one-day camp will focus on either English or Western riding in a smaller, moreconcentrated environment, taught by an instructor specializing in the chosen discipline. All campers will have their own horse, and ride for a total of 1-2 hours per day.
English Riding: April 2 Western Riding: April 3 8 a.m.-1 p.m.

SPACE EXPLORATION CAMP

Campers will learn about the highlights from the American Space Program with interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities and fun games. Each session of the camp will have a unique theme, as well as building a chemical rocket and working on science inquiries.
