The 20.5 acres of land and two story building were donated to BREC for administrative offices and park land.
Milton J. Womack Recreation Center
The West entrance of the building houses BREC's Womack Recreation Center featuring a fitness center, interactive recreation room and rentable meeting rooms, including our spacious ballroom. Regular Recreation and Park Commission for the Parish of East Baton Rouge meetings are held here on the fourth Thursday every month at 5 pm. IRP Game Room as scheduled.
Eugene A. Young Administration Offices
BREC's Eugene A. Young Administration Offices are located on the East side of the building. This side houses the offices of the Superintendent, Planning and Engineering, Park Operations, Conservation, Information Technology, BREC Foundation, Golf, Human Resources, Finance, Communication, Athletics and Recreation, which includes Programs, Adult Leisure, Inclusion, Special Facilities and Community Resources.
