Cycling at the VELODROME

This 333-meter smooth concrete cycling track is one of only 15 in the United States. Top cyclists can reach speeds up to 35 mph during competition. However, you don't have to be a world-class cyclist to enjoy the fun and excitement of the Velodrome. The public is welcome to ride the track to get a good workout! 

*Helmets are required.

Road 1: "Gives cyclists the confidence they need to ride safely and legally in traffic or on the trail.  The course covers bicycle safety checks, fixing a flat, on-bike skills and crash avoidance techniques. Recommended for adults and children above the age of 14. This fast paced, 9-hour course prepares cyclists for a full understanding of vehicular cycling." (Courtesy: League of American Bicyclists)
