Event Truth in Performance: Actors Workshop

Join professional actress, educator, and producer Samantha Smith for a transformative five-week acting intensive designed to prepare young performers for the professional acting world. Samantha Smith is a professional actress, educator, and producer with an extensive background in film, television, and arts education. Her acting credits include major productions such as First Christmas (OWN), Pitch Perfect 2, Queen Sugar, NCIS: New Orleans, Marvel’s Cloak & Dagger, Django Unchained, and Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins. Beyond acting, Samantha is the Founder of Agape Productions LLC, a film and television production company dedicated to storytelling that uplifts humanity.
This workshop introduces participants to the Meisner Method of Acting—a technique that focuses on emotional truth, active listening, and authentic connection. Through weekly hands-on exercises, scene work, and industry guidance, students will develop their craft, confidence, and readiness for both stage and screen.
Each session offers a balance of creative exploration and practical preparation, helping participants understand not just how to act, but how to work and thrive as an actor in today’s entertainment industry.
