Pressed Flora Workshop with Botanical Artist Connie McLeod
From the Artist: Join us for a personal, hands-on flora pressing workshop. Participants will learn the basics of pressing flora for optimal results, be guided through placement of the pressed plants, and finish the workshop with a beautiful personalized floating frame ornament. All supplies provided. Connie McLeod is a Baton Rouge native and received her B.A. from LSU. She recently retired from a career as an art director
and has since turned her garden into an oasis full of color and texture. She began pressing garden flora and transforming flowers, petals, and leaves into art. A renowned local botanical artist, she is also a Master Gardener and a Master Naturalist.
