Join BREC Art for higher-end art experiences and learn from local professional artists.
Writing Art
How do we write what we see? Join Halley McArn, MFA, in a two-hour intensive on Writing Art. First, we will explore the work of art critics who use works of art to explore the contents of their lives. Then, we will find ourselves in art—writing ekphrastic poems about works of art that hold meaning for us. We will end by sharing our work and discussing techniques we can use to see, and see anew, the world around us.
