Community Events

BREC Community Events are all about bringing people together and turning our parks into places of celebration, connection, and fun. Hosted throughout the year in parks across East Baton Rouge Parish, these free, family-friendly events give neighbors a reason to gather, explore, and enjoy everything BREC has to offer.  

From seasonal favorites like Egg Hunts, Full Moon Fete, Boo at the Zoo and Let It Sneaux to unique experiences like Fae Fest and Rockin' at the Swamp, each event is thoughtfully designed to create memorable moments for individuals, families, and friends of all ages. Many events are also hosted in partnership with local organizations, helping to enhance the experience while strengthening community connections.
