27 2021Guided Trail RidesGuided trail rides are available on select Saturdays and Sundays. Enjoy a one-hour gentle ride through the park on one of our horses. No experience required. Trail rides are by appointment only, and all riders must be at least 6 years old. Rides will be held rain or shine. Inclement weather trail rides will be held in the indoor arena. Ages: 6+ |

1 2021Beginning Birding with the Baton Rouge Audubon SocietyThis class is designed for the beginning bird watcher. It will consist of 4 weekly sessions. In the first session, students will be introduced to binoculars and field guides and basic information about birdwatching. The following three weeks, there bird walks around the property to try to see, hear, and identify as many birds as possible. Bird walks may last up to 1.5 - 2 hours (at a very leisurely pace) so mobility is required. |

1 2021Hearts & Hooves Therapeutic Riding ProgramRiders aged 6 and up with physical, mental, and social disabilities participate in a 6-week session of riding lessons tailored to their needs. Riders enjoy a one hour class on horseback learning stretching exercises, basic equitation and games. Horseback riding is known to improve core strength and co-ordination and provide a unique social opportunity with peers. Ages: 6+ |
