Hearts + Hooves Therapeutic Riding Program

Riders aged 6 and up with physical, mental, and social disabilities participate in a six-week session of riding lessons tailored to their needs. Riders enjoy a one-hour class on horseback learning stretching exercises, basic equitation and games. Horseback riding is known to improve core strength and coordination and provide a unique social opportunity with peers. Maximum class sizes of 8 riders, with 2 instructors and up to 3 volunteer assistants per rider.
