Youth Baseball

All managers/coaches must take the SPORTSMANSHIP class. (NFHS Sportsmanship Course)
Football manager/coaches must also complete the concussion training.
Submit completion certificate(s) with registration.

All participants in BREC Athletics programs are required to complete the Waiver/Release form.

BREC Athletics has transition to a grade-based platform, so the school year grade will determine placement of youth. If a coach has a dispute with age requirements, he/she will need to send written notice of dispute to athletics@brec.org before any given game to evaluate any child age requirements.

  • T - Ball  (Pre-K- K) - BREC Athletics will have a player exemption rule for any player who has not reached his or her 6th birthday on or before October 1, 2023, but is in the (Kindergarten), will be eligible to play.
  • Coach Pitch (1st Grade to 2nd Grade) - BREC Athletics will have a player exemption rule for any player who has not reached his or her 9th birthday on or before October 1, 2023, but is in the (1st or 2nd grade), will be eligible to play.
  • Kid Pitch- 46/65 (3rd Grade to 4th Grade) - BREC Athletics will have a player exemption rule for any player who has not reached his or her 11th birthday on or before October 1, 2023, but is in the (3rd or 4th grade), will be eligible to play.
  • Kid Pitch – 50/70 (5th Grade to 6th Grade) - BREC Athletics will have a player exemption rule for any player who has not reached his or her 13th birthday on or before October 1, 2023, but is in the (5th or 6th grade), will be eligible to play.
  • Kid Pitch – 60/90 (7th Grade to 8th Grade) - BREC Athletics will have a player exemption rule for any player who has not reached his or her 15th birthday on or before October 1, 2023, but is in the (7th or 8th grade), will be eligible to play.

BREC Athletics offers a spring youth coach pitch & kid pitch season for youth ages 7-12. Our mission is to ensure that each participant registered for our program has a safe, fun, and enriching experience with baseball.

Kid Pitch Division(s):

  • 7U (Coach Pitch) – Any player who has not reached his or her 8th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
  • 8U (Coach Pitch) – Any player who has not reached his or her 9th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
  • 9U - Any player who has not reached his or her 10th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
  • 10U - Any player who has not reached his or her 11th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
  • 11U - Any player who has not reached his or her 12th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
  • 12U - Any player who has not reached his or her 13th birthday on or before May 1, 2024, is eligible to play.
